He plays the chords on the piano And pulls those of my heart; He drips honey from his fingertips Directly into my mind When it wanders during mass I hear his faint, sweet music It gently pulls me back to here Like the line a kite Seated in between the alter and the pews You connect us to the mass You translate the unspoken words To music the soul can hear

മടിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കാൻ കൊടിപിടിച്ചിരിക്കണ കൂട്ടം ---- കർമ്മം കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ നർമ്മം പറയാം ----

... പത്രത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങൾ മാത്രമേ മിത്രമേയിന്നെനിക്കാകെയുള്ളൂ ...

ഉണ്ടക്കണ്ണുള്ളവൾ നീണ്ടനാക്കുള്ളവൾ 1 ചുണ്ടു ചെമന്നവൾ 2 കാളി! വക്കാണം 3  മൂത്തിട്ടു വെട്ടാനായ് വന്നോന്റെ തൊണ്ടയറുത്തവൾ 4 കാളി! കോപത്തെയാറ്റുവാൻ ചങ്കരൻ 5  ചെന്നതും ചങ്കിൽ ചവിട്ടിയോൾ കാളി! 1. അധികം സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൾ എന്നും അർത്ഥം 2. ദേവിക്ക് ചോരകൊണ്ട്,  സ്ത്രീയ്ക്ക് ചായംകൊണ്ട് 3. ദേവിക്ക് അസുരയുദ്ധം, സ്ത്രീയ്ക്ക് അയൽക്കാരനുമായി 4. ഉത്തരം മുട്ടിച്ചവൾ എന്നും അർത്ഥം 5. ഭർത്താവ്, ദേവിയുടെയും (ശിവൻ)

തുമ്പപ്പൂന്തേനുണ്ണാൻ തുമ്പകളില്ലെന്നു തുമ്പി വിതുമ്പിക്കരഞ്ഞു

ചിത്തവൃത്തിനിരോധം താൻ  യോഗമെന്നു പതാഞ്ചലി 

അനിതരസാധാരണമൊരുപ്രാസം അനിത രസാധാരമായ് ചമച്ചാൾ -------------------- അനിത = കവയിത്രിയുടെ പേർ 

സംഗതമായൊരു സങ്കടമെല്ലാം ശംകരമായി തീർന്നീടേണം  

നശ്വരമായൊരീ ജീവിതം കൊണ്ടങ്ങ- നശ്വരമായൊന്നു നിർമ്മിക്കാനായ് ഈശ്വരൻ തന്നൊരുപാധിയാം മാനസം വിശ്വവുമങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ...

ആരെയും കാണുവാനില്ലല്ലോ കൂട്ടിനായ്  ചാരെയും ദൂരെയും മറ്റെങ്ങാനും  കന്യക തന്നുടെ ഗർഭത്തിലുണ്ടായി ധന്യശിരോമണി യേശുനാഥൻ 

തുമ്പത്തിൽ പാലു കുടിക്കുവാനായ് ചെറു- തുമ്പി വിതുമ്പിക്കരഞ്ഞു 

മായാവിനോദങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിൽ മായാവിനോദനവും കഴിച്ചാൻ മായാവിനോദനം = മായയെ ഓടിച്ചു കളയൽ വിനോദന = ഓടിച്ചു കളയുന്ന

ദാഹം വന്തേൻ, നീർ വന്തീർ ദാഹത്തിനു നീർ പോലെത്താൻ ---- (ദാഹം = ദാ + അഹം = ഇതാ ഞാൻ )

I looked in the mirror Into the eyes of a  little boy With whom I had done great injustice. His soft brown eyes, Gazed back into mine, Brimming with tears, While he gently bit down his  quivering lips How I wish I could pick  him up in my arms And kiss on both his cheeks! But for this sheet of glass between us, This pane of reality that separates us -  The real and the unreal, The past and the present You had looked up to me As you are doing now When I first took you in I promised you wings for your dreams Little did I realize That I had tied them down With strings of fear 

Love is what remains after the passions have passed.

परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।  धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे നന്മ ചെയ്വോരെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെയമർത്തുവാൻ  നേരും നെറിയും സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ കാലാകാലം വരുന്നു ഞാൻ  

Again he taught them and said: Once there was a man, passing by a lonely rose flower on the fence.  He asked the flower - Oh flower, it is a pity that you are here, by the fence, by the roadside. The beauty of your white petals blotted by the settled dust from ongoing traffic. Whatever scent you ever had, has flown away in the gusty wind. In your solitude, you don't even form part of a pattern that onlookers can enjoy. Is it fair to say that your very existance is empty and meaningless? The flower responded. Oh passer-by! your question has been answered by your own question. I have been waiting here all these days, suffering the wind and dust, for that one man, who being one in a thousand would stop by and ask of me an existential question. If I could evoke such thoughts even in one man, my very existance has been purposeful.  Answering thus, the flower fell down on the ground, having lived a fulfilled life. 

കള്ളുങ്കുപ്പി ചെരിച്ചൊഴിച്ചു മറിയം കെഞ്ചുന്ന വായ്ക്കുള്ളിലേ- യ്ക്കുള്ളങ്കൈയ്യിലൊളിച്ചുവച്ച വിഷമോ കാട്ടീല കെട്ട്യോനെയാൾ. പുള്ളിക്കാരനിരിക്കുവോളമരികിൽ 'വെള്ളം' കൊടുക്കാനവൾ; ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു വരിച്ചവൻ കെടുകിലോ  പാഷാണമാണാശ്രയം ------ കെടുക = ഇല്ലാതാവുക (മരിക്കുക എന്ന് വ്യംഗ്യം)
