 Translation of a hymn

Lead, Kindly Light, Amid th'encircling gloom;
Lead Thou me on!

The night is dark, And I am far from home
Lead Thou me on!

Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see
The distant scene - One step enough for me  		  നയിക്കേണമേ! വെളിച്ചമേ നീയെന്നെ
നയിക്കേണമേ!

കൂരിരുളും, എൻ വീടോ വിദൂരം 
നയിക്കേണമേ!

എൻ വഴി കാക്ക! ആശിക്കുന്നില്ല 
ദൂരദ്യശ്യം - ഒരടി മാത്രം മതി

അരമണിനേരമിരുന്നൊരു ബാല  അരമണി ചെമ്പുമുലഞ്ഞൊരു  ചേല അരമണിയാൾ! അവൾ  ചെയ്തൊരു വേല! അരമണിവോർക്കൻപുണ്ടാകേല! അരമണിനേരം = അര മണിക്കൂർ നേരം  അരമണി = അരയിലെ മണി  അരമണി = അ + രമണി = രമണിയല്ലാത്തവൾ  അരമണിവോർ  = അരം + അണിവോർ = അരം അണിയുന്നവർ = ശിക്ഷ കൊടുക്കുന്നവർ  (രണ്ടാം വരി  വെറും വർണ്ണനയാണ്.  ഈ  സ്ത്രീ ചെയ്‌ത വേലയെന്താണെന്ന് വ്യക്തമല്ല.)
