The Village Boy

I sat next to a village boy
In the flight today
He was short and a little plump
I was tall and lean
He wore baggies and t-shirt
I wore suit and tie
He was going home to mom's
I, to apartment

He had dreams
I had goals
He had love
I had work

He was sleeping peacefully
While I thought these things
